Eleni Ioannidou researches the unknown composer from Dresden Johann Christoph Richter (1700-1785) and his opera "Il re pastore". The project is funded by the Performing Arts Fund with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of NEUSTART KULTUR
international LIED competition
Bolko v. Hochberg
A project designed for 2021 (200 years after the Greek revolution), with which we want to positively influence Görlitz-Zgorzelec with regard to the future use of the town hall, is the international song competition "Bolko from Hochberg". It took place from July 12th to 16th, 2022 at the Dom Kultury and the Gerhart Hauptmann Theater. Next edition: June 2024.
The Lausitzer Barockensemble celebrates its fifth anniversary with a concert dedicated to the Saxon musical heritage of the region and to the landscape of Upper Lusatia. A young filmmaker will accompany us on this adventure with his camera "on the road in Lusatia". The concerts took place on July 8-9.
On September 17th, the concert of the winners of the 1st International Song Competition Bolko v.Hochberg will take place in the Wolf-Ferrari-Haus in Ottobrunn. More info:
A second song recital by the finalists of the competition will take place in Fürstenstein Castle on October 2, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. and is dedicated to the great Silesian poet Joseph v.Eichendorff.
On November 20, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. there will be a concert with the Lusatian Baroque Ensemble in the crypt of St. Peter’s Church. More information will be known soon.
